AC Milan make high offer for Erling Haland
AC Milan have joined the race to sign Champions League sensation Erling Haaland and have offered the Norwegian a very lucrative contract.
AC Milan are the latest club to join the race for Erling Haaland. The 19-year-old centre forward of Red Bull Salzburg has been a revelation this season scoring 28 goals and assisting 7 in 22 appearances. The breakout star of this year’s Champions League with 8 goals to his name is one of the most in-demand players in Europe with a January transfer looking imminent.
According to transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla, the Rossoneri would be serious about bringing the RB Salzburg phenomenon to Milanello and are ready to face the competition of other big European clubs for his signature. Manchester United are currently seen as the favorite to land the Norway international.
Haaland matches perfectly the requirements of Ivan Gazidis and Elliott Management. According to the Sportitalia journalist, Paolo Maldini has already made contact with the player’s agents and has offered Haaland a five-year contract of €5.5 million per season.
An attractive proposal that exceeds the 3 million offered by Juventus. Furthermore Milan have the luxury to guarantee Erling a staring role in Pioli’s eleven, an non-negotiable condition from the talented striker. The Rossoneri must also deal with RB Salzburg. According to rumors Haaland has a €30 million release clause and certainly the Austrian club will demand the fee to be paid in full.
The €30 million figure required it’s not a number that AC Milan can afford to spend without selling. In order to finance a move for Erling Haaland the Rossoneri must must make an important sale with Kessie, Calabria, Rodriguez and Borini the likely candidates to leave San Siro in January. Continuous rumors of the Rossoneri contacting other strikers suggest that the Ibrahimovic track has faded.
